HerbYvore Plant Protein Block can be used in the following recipe applications:

• For selected dairy replacement, i.e., works as a vegan feta and ricotta (with the right seasoning); it also works as a substitute for butter in a 2-to-1 ratio. E.g., replacing 200g butter in a recipe with 100g plant protein block and 100g neutral tasting oil (this substitution can work in a dense baked recipe like cookies or brownies).
• As a thickening and binding agent while giving texture. You can add the Plant Protein Block to replace use of a dairy cream for thickening in recipes like parfaits or cream soups/sauces.
• For meat replacement. When crumbled to resemble minced meat and marinated with aromatics, this Plant Protein Block does not require draining of water like tofu and adequate time for seasoning allows the block to absorb flavours to reduce the beanie tastes that is associated with the high pea protein content.
